Whether you consider yourself a beginner, or more experienced walker, this challenge is for you! Walking has numerous physical and mental health benefits, which can be felt with as little as 30 minutes of walking each day. We believe you can meet this walking goal, and we want to help you do so! The best part is you can walk in your neighbourhood or your rural roads and it does not cost money. 

Challenge yourself, friends, and coworkers to move more everyday. Great for workplaces to increase staff wellness or for friends to get together.

Throughout September and October, participants will be entered into weekly draws to win various prizes, such as: gift certificates to our local businesses, Yeti mug, and the Grand prize is $100 gift certificate.

How to sign up:

Step 1: Visit, sign up as user then register for MODL walking challenge.

Step 2: On Tuesday September 15, we'll send you an email with a link to join up to the MODL Walking Challenge. This will include information on how to download free app & login info. The app connects with the following devices: android phones, apple phones (5S+), fitbit, garmin, apple watch, Wear OS by Google, Withings, Misfit, Apple Health, Google Fit, Polar and Xiaomi.

Step 3: Start MODL Walking Challenge on Monday September 21, 2020  Challenge runs from Monday, September 21 - November 4 (6 weeks)

Don’t have a smartphone or wearable device? No problem. There is an option to record your daily activity manually when you sign-up.
