NEW for 2020
Voting in the October Municipal election will be by telephone and internet only. Watch this video on how to vote electronically. There will NO paper ballots cast in 2020 in the Municipality. Voting will begin 8:00 am Thursday, October 8, and continue through 7:00 pm Saturday, October 17. In order to ensure voter and poll worker safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, MODL Council passed a motion to this effect on July 28, 2020.
Rest assured that we are committed to helping every eligible voter cast their vote! More information on how you can request assistance with telephone and internet voting will be posted soon.
Are you on the list?
The elections for the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg and the Conseil Scolaire Acadien Provincial will be held on October 17. Voting by phone and internet only will begin 8:00 am October 8 through 7:00 pm October 17.
Please note: You will be asked to confirm your name, civic address, mailing address, and date of birth.
Revision to the List of Electors will continue throughout the election period. If you do NOT receive your Voter Information Letter by the end of September or if the information received is incorrect, please contact our staff.
